Altec Integrated Solutions is a fully integrated single-source supplier of electrical, mechanical and process control technologies. We have extensive experience in the areas of industrial automation, machine design, servo hydraulics, instrumentation and process control.  Altec has been providing innovative solutions to the forest, entertainment, food and beverage, waste treatment and construction industries for over five years and our tradition of continuously searching for better ways of responding to client’s needs is one of the distinguishing features of our firm’s culture.

We have developed several high-technology products for the forest industry.  Our product line includes our XY Scanner 3D, Veneer Lathe Controls including LatheTools™, Clipping Trash Gate, Thickness Quality Monitor System, Rotary Veneer Clipper Controller and Veneer Stacking Systems.

Our comprehensive, in-house services include design engineering, manufacturing, project management and technical field services.  Our team of highly experienced engineers, designers, technicians and programmers continually provides the optimum level of quality service.  Our sound knowledge of proven and leading-edge practices and technologies provides Altec with a solid foundation from which to meet our client’s needs.  Regardless of the project, Altec tailors its approach in response to our client’s specific requirements and perspectives.

Our History

Altec Integrated Solutions Ltd. was created in 1999 by two founding partners: Bill Long and Craig Markovic.  Bill's background was primarily in machine automation and industrial design for the forest products industry.  Craig's background was primarily in industrial process control for the forest, food and beverage and municipal services industries.  The combined experience of these two principals established a strong technical base to provide our customers with comprehensive industrial control solutions.

Since 1999, Altec has grown to include full-time engineers, programmers and office staff.  We look forward to continued growth as we strive to become a leader in high-technology solutions for industry.
