The installation of an Altec Clipping Trash Gate at Alberta Plywood's Slave Lake, AB operation in November 2002 has proven to be a huge success.  The installation itself was completed without a hitch during a regular weekend shutdown.

"After installing Altec's Clipping Trash Gate, we immediately realized a 10% increase in block count through our lathe and actually achieved less fold-over," says Daryl Saitz, Maintenance Superintendent.

The outstanding results were so immediately apparent that Alberta Plywood wasted no time in purchasing a second Clipping Trash Gate for their other lathe, to be installed in April/03.
