The Altec Electric Servo Clipper System package replaces the existing Clipper Controller, the hydraulic motors on the clipper rolls and clipper knife with electric servo motors and gear boxes. The performance of the electrical servo package will far exceed the performance of hydraulic systems particularly in the area of knife to roll speed synchronization and left to right knife synchronization.
